This original oil painting is called 'Conjured Storm'.
This painting was inspired by the raw energy of nature when a thunderstorm is conjured. I wanted to create a piece of art that really draws you in almost like you could be amongst the clouds or feel the heaviness of the thunderstorm before it starts to erupt. With this piece I wanted to create drama with an ethereal twist.
There are no buildings, people or birds within this painting as it's all about the power of the storm and the formation of the clouds and that's what I want the viewer to be drawn into.
Although it may only be on a small canvas it would make any wall come alive!
