With this painting I wanted to bring a moody cloudscape that comes to life on the canvas, capturing the ethereal dance of light and dark. The clouds, I wanted them to seem like they have a mind of their own like just before a storm is about to break and their formations can change in a second. Inspired by how weather can shift seamlessly from tumultuous to serene, echoing the transient nature of emotions.
The absence of any discernible landmarks or structures was on purpose as I want you the viewer suspended in an atmospheric dreamscape, encouraging introspection and a connection with the ever-shifting moods of the sky.
