Original Landscape Oil Painting on canvas, ‘Hillside Veil' 16" x 20".
This original oil painting was inspired by a recent trip I had taken to Wales, I was inspired by the amazing countryside and hidden valleys. I love how the hillsides come alive with all the different shades of greens and browns.
I have created some heavy storm clouds that have formed over the land with a palpable weight. This brooding storm is sweeping in above the beautiful Welsh countryside. This painting was about capturing the drama of nature but also the beauty of the hillside.
This painting is also a reflection of myself showing my appreciation of Mother nature’s power and also painting in some lighter clouds on one side to show that power and peace can coexist.
I adored creating this painting, I loved it and I can’t wait for it to find it new home.
