“Remain” is an original oil painting measuring 70cm x 90cm, created as an expression of endurance through life’s darker moments. In this piece, I explore the weight and movement of heavy, moody grey clouds - thick and almost bubbling with energy - as they gather strength across the sky. There’s a sense of pressure building, as if the storm is on the verge of breaking.
Below, the landscape mirrors this intensity. Dark, rolling hills are painted in deep greens and earthy browns, grounding the composition in a quiet heaviness. In the foreground, grasses in muted tones of brown and green add texture and stillness, holding their place beneath the looming sky.
Yet even within the darkness, I’ve painted light breaking through at the top right corner - subtle, but intentional. For me, this light represents resilience. It’s a reminder that even in the most overwhelming moments, something persists.
“Remain” is deeply personal. It was inspired by my own emotional journey through difficult times - the internal storms, the weight of uncertainty, and the effort it takes simply to keep going. This painting is about that quiet strength: the act of remaining when everything feels like it’s shifting, darkening, or falling apart. It’s about holding on, standing still, and trusting that light will find its way through.

My first signature piece of 2025, I’m proud to now be releasing 'Beyond The Darkness'.
This painting portrays a dramatic scene of swirling dark clouds which are looming over the horizon creating mystery of what is….Beyond the darkness.
This original oil painting was inspired by my love of the powerful forces of nature. I knew from the beginning that I wanted the grasses to be green as for me that is symbolising resilience and hope which is my metaphor of renewal and perseverance.
When creating this piece of art, I completely let my emotions guide the process. The clouds were painted with purpose as I wanted to express my deep connection to the scene and my passion in the contrast. This painting has true emotional energy thrown into it as my goal as an artist is to make people feel when they are looking at my art.
This painting is a true reflection of myself as an artist and shows my love for painting stormy landscapes. I truly have a deep love and connection with this painting, and I can’t wait for it to find its forever home where it will create a powerful focal point in any room!

‘The Storm’s Symphony’ is an original oil painting where I have worked on capturing the raw beauty and intensity of a storm that is sweeping across an open field. I have painted heavy storm clouds gathering on the right side of the canvas, yet in the top left-hand corner the light breaks through casting a soft glow on the field below.
For me, storms have always carried a deep emotional pull as it’s something I can really tell a story on the canvas with, whilst also painting with pure emotion. When painting this piece, the brushes are mirroring the intensity I’m feeling at that time, but I’m also transported to another place as I feel as though it is something I have to paint and a feeling of somewhere I’ve been or could be seeing in the future.
I decided to call this painting ‘The Storm’s Symphony’ because of the rhythm and energy I used when creating this piece, even in the quiet moments when painting this piece, I could feel the quiet strength moving across the canvas.
I want this painting to invite you to feel, to connect and just pause and feel the energy created. Just as I find meaning in storms and mother nature, I hope it stirs something in you, whether this is calmness, reflection, a memory or a reminder of a past place.
This original oil painting was created on a cotton canvas, after leaving for weeks to cure it was then oiled out and then retouched varnished. I decided not to apply a gloss varnish as I was happy with the sheen and way it looks without the gloss. It’s signed on the back and ready to hang, it’s more than art to me - it’s a moment of my truth.
I absolutely loved creating this piece, this is a true statement piece for lovers of storms untamed moods.

This small original studio work was inspired by a recent sunrise I had seen that was absolutely beautiful rising above a field and I knew I had to paint something where I wanted to show the power of a sunrise.
This intimate oil painting captures the quiet tension between shadow and light, evoking both solemnity and hope. The warm, gilded hues of the field contrast with the cool, darkened clouds, creating a moment of power, resilience, and renewal. Every brushstroke celebrates the delicate balance of nature’s drama and serenity, inviting the viewer to witness the day’s awakening.
I loved creating this work, starting with some of the darker clouds and then building up to the light that is starting to break through the right-hand side of the painting. It’s filled with emotion as daybreak can sometimes be the hardest part of the day, yet nature transforms it into something breathtaking.

This painting was heavily inspired by my deep love for the countryside.
Above the hills are a veil of ominous moody clouds, heavy with dark greys to show how the rain will soon fall onto the land below. The light piercing through the cloud above gently touches the land below.
Within the darkness I have tried to add hints of beauty, inspired by the ever-changing nature of the world around us.
I also chose to varnish this painting with a gloss varnish as it really makes the dark clouds look even more ominous!

This original oil painting is part of a small canvas collection called Mini Moody’s.
This Mini Moody was inspired by my love of the unknown! And my fascination with the endless mysteries of the universe. When I first sat down at this small blank canvas my imagination was thinking about are we truly alone and also the curiosity of human beings in general.
I had so much fun painting this mini moody painting! I loved adding in the tiny UAP light in the sky that may or may not be following the car headlights below. The car headlights are glowing as though it’s trying to escape or maybe it could even be being guided somewhere.
I wanted to create a storm cloud painting of wonder, mystery and imagination. Even though it is a small painting it carries a big question: what else is out there?
This Mini Moody painting is perfect for anyone who shares a love for the unknown and I’m proud that this piece is part of the Mini Moody collection!

This original oil painting is part of a small canvas collection called Mini Moody’s.
This Mini Moody was inspired by the power of passing storms. Dark grey clouds gather above a gentle hillside, this painting is heavy with feeling and movement in the clouds. A beam of light is breaking through the top right-hand corner offering a moment of hope.
When I am painting on such a small canvas, I still like to make sure that it is packed with atmosphere and also gives you a feeling when you are staring at it. And that feeling is meaningful to the viewer and it’s also something personal to them.
For me the light in the clouds feels divine, I can imagine this hanging somewhere peaceful in a quiet little reading nook or even alongside some other stormy landscapes.
